Hip Hop Weekend ft. Busta & T-Pain

Last weekend was very busy here in the K Dub. On Saturday I spent a good part of the day/evening hanging out in Bingemans to snap photos of Fabolous, Rick Ross, T-Pain and Busta Rhymes at Summer Jam Canada 2010.

Also making an appearance was Toronto’s JDiggz, who brought the crowd back to life late in the afternoon following some serious scheduling/set up issues.

I have to say T-Pain was pretty darn likable. And Busta and his hype man Spliff Star were, well, crazy. I think they went at least a half hour over their scheduled set time – to which no one complained. I avoided having Courvoisier sprayed on my gear by ducking under the stage. Speaking of which, the stage was a couple feet above my head. From the photo pit, a lot of my pictures are up noses. Best of all, this being a festival, it was only for Rick Ross’ set I was kicked out of the photo pit.
